Hello 2012 + kicking the new year off with some fab news

We made it! We're in 2012! I love New Year and the chance to reflect on what has gone before and one's direction and set goals for the coming year. However you celebrated, I hope that the arrival of 2012 is full of promise and dreams yet to be realised. I managed to see in midnight..... with thanks to a little person who had woken up, having opted for a rock 'n' roll early night! Just as well as my little girl decided she'd like to greet the New Year early and was up at 5.30am!

Last night I had a quick browse of the internet and saw that Mumpreneur UK had released the 2011 Mumpreneur 100 list - the top 100 Mumpreneurs in the UK. Ever nosey I checked it out and just a little way down spied my name! Wow! I'm shocked, delighted, amazed and most of all hounoured to be included in the list. I vaguely remember submitting an entry to be considered in the top 100, but with so many amazing Mumpreneurs out there hadn't expected to make the list. It was a lovely surprise and a great way to end 2011 and start 2012.
