Styling Curly Hair

Cocoa Butter Body Butter from The Body Shop
Despite the years  of moaning about my naturally wavy hair and the hours spent trying to iron out the kinks with the advent of hair straighteners, I have grown to love my curls.  But, as all those with a wave or curl to the tresses will agree, managing to style it without at least parts of it looking frizzy is tough. I don't like the 'wet' or crusty look from the overuse of styling products, besides my scalp is really not loving the use of the different hair products I attempt to tame my locks with.

Then, the lovely Laura Summers shared her top tip for styling curly hair. Body Butter from the Body Shop. Yes, that's right, body butter.  Laura recommends the nutty ones, but patience isn't a strong point and I only had mango body butter.  However, I am pleased to report that this produced good results. As Laura recommends, I apply it to wet hair and allow to dry naturally. Any stubborn patches of frizz I then scrunch in some extra body butter to blast the frizz away. Needless to say it wasn't long before I had a nutty variety of body butter in my hands. Thank you Laura -aI much better styling alternative to my usual products and kinder to my scalp too.
