Back in July, I had a stand at the Super Duper Itsy Bitsy Handmade Fair held in Stanley Park, Blackpool. It was at this event that I met the lovely Nikki from Maneggi, who creates gorgeous necklaces (and other accessories). My mum came to the fair and fell in love with the necklaces from Maneggi. They are beautiful and unique, but for my mum there's the added bonus that the necklaces tie with ribbon and, with skin allergies, she cannot wear metal next to her skin. As my mum's birthday approaches I contacted Nikki about a custom order. Nikki couldn't have been more accomodating and within days my requested purple and grey necklace had been made up, photographed and emailed across for my approval. Another few days later the postie knocked on my door and I now have my lovely Maneggi necklace, along with two lovely corsages (Nikki couldn't choose which one matched the necklace best for me, so I guess I get to keep the additional one!).
